ECONOMIC CONFERENCE
FORTNIGHT OF OPENING SPEECHES. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 9.25 p.m.) London, May 11. The Government is allocating £lO,000 for “hospitality” at the Economic Conference, which some believe may last a year, but Mr MacDonald is hoping it will be short and decisive. After the opening by the King a delegate from each nation will deliver an opening speech. These are expected to last at least a fortnight.
