BOARD MAY BE ABOLISHED. QUESTIONS IN COMMONS., (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, May 9. Replying to Mr Louis Smith in the House of Commons. Mr J. H. Thomas said he thought the Empire Marketing Board had been of considerable advantage to the Empire. He had offered at Ottawa to continue it till September, but the dominions took a different view. Sir Herbert Samuel: Is the board to be discontinued? Mr Thomas: The Economic Committee’s report does not recommend its continuance, and the Government is now considering the whole matter.
