DISCOVERY OF A BODY.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copylight.) London, April 21. The Italian Embassy is inquiring at Victoria Point, Burma, about the identification of a body believed to be Captain Robbiano’s. He was a wealthy man, and carried £2OO in notes and £260 in money orders.
WRECKAGE WITH ITALIAN MARKS.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) Calcutta, April 22. There is no trace of Captain Robbiano, despite a vigorous search of the coast of East Bengal, but wreckage of a plane has been found bearing Italian marks with a notebook containing details of landing grounds en route to Australia. Villagers on the south-west of Sandwip Islands, near Noakhali, report hearing a loud explosion off the coast in the early hours of the morning on April 15, suggesting that Robbiano crashed in the darkness when flying towards the coast of Burma.
