POTATO EMBARGO
REMOVAL FORESHADOWED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, April 3. The Canberra correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says the Government this week is expected to make a progress report on Mr Massy Greene’s visit to New Zealand. It is stated in reference to the Australian embargo on New Zealand potatoes that the Marketing Board has indicated that in the interests of Australian trade generally it is prepared to forgo the benefit of the embargo.
