ODDFELLOWS’ PICNIC
OUTING AT RIVERTON. (From Our Winton Correspondent.) Favoured with gloriously fine weather conditions on Wednesday afternoon the annual combined Oddfellows’ picnic again proved a most enjoyable outing for both young and old, when 267 made the trip to Riverton. During the afternoon a sports programme was held on the beach, when races for children as well as adults were contested. The committee had arrangements all complete and the day’s programme was concluded without a hitch. Donations towards the sports prizes were given by Loyal Dipton Lodge, Bro. W. Brown, and Sisters Mclntosh and I. Gill. The sports results were as follows:— Boys’ Races: 12 to 14, A. Blackmun, R. Horsburgh, G. Horsburgh; 6 to 8; Harold Gorge, Gordon Duncan, C.
