EASTERN DISTRICT FIXTURES. MATCHES AT GORE. On the Gore green last evening Gore A defeated Wyndham by 34 points, while in a very close finish the B team defeated Mataura by a single point. Conditions were excellent. Details are as follows:— GORE A. v. WYNDHAM.

HOKONUI A v. EDENDALE. A match between the Hokonui and Edendale bowling clubs for the Eastern Cup was played on the Hokonui green on Tuesday evening, and resulted in a win for the visitors. The green was in fair order, but the strong easterly wind disconcerted many of the players. The following were the scores:—
