FAVOURABLE BALANCE. DECREASE IN VOLUME. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Washington, December 20. A favourable trade balance in November of 35,000,000 dollars was announced to-day by the United States Commerce Department in a statement which placed the exports at 139,000,000 dollars and the imports at 104,000,000. Each was lower than the previous month. November was the first month since July that the trade figures have shown a decrease. For the eleven months of the present year there has been a favourable trade balance of 256,180,000 dollars with 1,481,379,000 dollars in exports and 1,225,199,000 in imports. The exports, however, were 758,841,000 dollars less than for the same period in the previous year and the imports 711,663,000 dollars less.
