SLUMP IN WHEAT
WINNIPEG MARKET. (United Press Assn.— Telegraph Copyright.) Winnipeg. November 1. The liquidation in December futures in Liverpool as the result of the announcement in the British House of Commons that preference would not apply to Canadian wheat sent to the United States and re-consigned to Britain, evoked sympathetic action on Tuesday, values tumbling 1 to 1J cents. November wheat closed at 45 J cents, December at 45 and May at 49.
