DEFALCATIONS ALLEGED. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, October 26. Matthew Prust Stewart, aged 37, a solicitor, was arrested this morning on a charge of stealing £lOO the property of F. C. Litchfield on July 11, 1930. He was remanded to appear on November 10. Bail was allowed. The police said accused himself estimated his defalcations at £l6OO cw £l7OO.
