REMARKS AT CONFERENCE. AMALGAMATION OF SCHOOLS (Per United Press Association.) New Plymouth, September 26. Exception to statements at the Technical Education Conference was taken by the New Plymouth High School Board, which carried the following: “The opinion of this board is that the statement made to the effect that where the amalgamation of technical and high schools has been adopted the technical side of the school has suffered, is contrary to fact as far as the New Plymouth school is concerned.”
