LYTTON REPORT
LEAGUE DELAYS DISCUSSION. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Geneva, September 24. The League Council has agreed to Japan’s request to delay the discussion on the Lytton report until November 14. The report will be published on October 1. Mr de Valera, who presided, expressed the Council’s regret that Japan was seeking a fresh postponement. The Council considered that Japan’s recognition of Manchukuo prejudiced the League’s decision.
