IRISH FARMERS
ULTIMATUM TO GOVERNMENT.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5. p.m.) London, September 24. The Dublin correspondent of the Daily Express says the farmers will send an ultimatum to the Government next week when a great meeting will pass a resolution demanding Mr De Valera to accept the principle of resuming negotiations with Britain within a fortnight or alternatively to hold a general election. It Mr De Valera, ignores the demand the farmers are determined to refuse to pay annuity instalments.
