UNUSUAL FATAL ACCIDENT. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, May 28. A man named James Smith Morren, aged 49, was drowned at Port Chalmers in peculiar circumstances this afternoon. He was carrying a bundle of wood along the wharf when the wood struck the end of a truck and precipitated him into the water. YOUTH SUCCUMBS. Auckland, May 29. From injuries received when he was knocked off his bicycle by a motor car at Point Chevalier last Thursday, Edward Antonovich, aged 15, died in hospital. _________
