NO WEDDING
BRIDEGROOM WALKS OUT. GUESTS CONTINUE THE FEAST. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, May 28. Although the banns had been read and full arrangements made, a native wedding on the East Coast this week did not eventuate. On the day prior to the wedding the groom disappeared, but his relatives searched and brought him back. However, at the service the bridegroom got up and said he was not going to marry and left. Guests numbering 400 were present and it was decided to carry on the feast for which elaborate preparations had been made.
