A message from Estevan (Saskatchewan) states that Mrs Annie 13 tiller, of Toronto, a Communist, was sentenced to a year’s hard labour and fined 500 dollars or an additional six months’ imprisonment for incitement to strike during a riot in which three coalminers lost their lives in a clash with tho police last September. William Scarlett, who appeared on the same charge, was .-sentenced to a year’s imprisonment.
