FUTURE OF AUSTRALIA. (United Press Assn.—Ey Telegraph—Copyright.) Canberra, January 16. The Prime Minister, Mr J. A. Lyons, when appealing for wise spending by every section of the community, declared that a greatly increased business turnover had been reported from all parts of Australia. “This is tlie best immediate outcome of the election,” he said. “Let us endeavour to maintain anti accelerate that gratifying evidence of restored prosperity. Tlie perilous drift in unemployment has been arrested and, best of all, the financial future of Australia is more promising than it has been for months.”
