3000 WATCH EXECUTION. (United Pres-j Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright) Paris, December 27. Three thousand people, including many Christmas revellers in evening dress, witnessed the public execution of Georges Gauchet, the drug-saturated 20-year-old son of an aristocratic family, for the murder of a Parisian jeweller. The guillotine was erected outside the Sante prison.
