CHANGES NECESSARY
AUSTRALIA’S MONETARY SYSTEM. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 8 p.m.) Sydney, November 24. Speaking at Glebe the Federal Treasurer, Mr E. G. Theodore, is reported as saying that drastic changes in the monetary system in order to cope with unemployment were absolutely necessary. He added that unless the nations of the world united to solve the financial problem, Australia acting alone would be driven to solving her own industrial problems regardless of the rest of the world.
