GORE LADIES’ CLUB. The following is the result of the sealed holes match played on Thursday, August 20—Mrs J. A. Brown, 32-6-26; Miss K. Jopp, 34-7-27; Miss N. Paterson, 34-7-27; Mrs Boult, 35-6-29. At the close of the match the opportunity was taken to bid farewell to Mrs Miller. After a delightful afternoon tea, Miss Inder, on behalf of the many friends of Mrs Miller, expressed regret at her departure and also the loss the club would sustain in losing a player of Mrs Miller’s standard and enthusiasm. She then asked Mrs Miller to accept a small gift as a remembrance of her connection with the Gore Club. Mrs Miller suitably replied.
