NAPIER POST OFFICE

RESTORATION WORK. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, June 25. An assurance that the rehabilitation of Napier post office would be proceeded with at an early date was given in the House to-day by the Postmaster-General in reply to a question from Mr W. E. Barnard. The Government intended to restore the building to its former state, Mr Donald said, and it was anticipated the work would take about 12 months.
