BRITISH SWEEPSTAKES
GOVERNMENT INQUIRY.
(United Press Assn.—By Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, April 4. The Times says that the Government has decided to examine the whole law affecting the holding of sweepstakes in Britain, and it is expected that a committee of inquiry ■will be appointed without delay. Evidence will be heard from every possible angle. It is doubtful if it will be possible to take action as a result of the inquiry before this year’s Derby.
