AWARD FILED. NO INCREASE IN WAGES. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, December 9. The Dominion Shop Assistants’ Award, which was filed to-day, is based with few exceptions on the existing award. The majority of the Court decided that it could not grant a wage increase. The award operates on December 29. Raetihi, Ohakune, Taihape and Marton shall observe Easter Tuesday as a holiday instead of Easter Saturday and Wanganui and Rotorua shall observe the Tuesday following Labour Day instead of Easter Saturday.
