The annual prizegiving ceremony will take place on Friday, December 19, while the annual school excursion will be held at Bluff on February 5. A meeting of the Edendale School Jubilee Committee was held on Tuesday evening, Air G. Dempster presiding over a good attendance. Mrs H. E. Niven (secretary) was instructed to complete the business of ordering ribbons required for the different decades, and to order 500 button badges. She was also instructed to draft out a programme of ceremonies, and report on same to the next meeting of the committee. Progress reports were received from the dance, sports, banquet and billeting committees, the tone of which augurs well for the success of the forthcoming function.
