' NEW SOUTH WALES BANKS. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright) Sydney, October 20. The banking position in New South Wales disclosed in the compilation of the aggregate of the trading banks of this State for the quarter ended September 30 shows a continued shrinkage in deposits, and although there has been a contraction in advances, added tc Government securities that combined item is still in excess of deposits. The June quarter deposits .have decreased by. £2,597,694 and taken over the year the decrease is £4,769,145.
