NEWS FROM NIUAFOU

NEW ZEALAND ECLIPSE EXPEDITION.

(Special to Press Association by Radio.)

Wellington, October 19.

A message from Doctor C. E. Adams, who is in charge of the New Zealand Eclipse Expedition at Niuafou, states that daily practice by the expedition continues. Since the arrival of the party on the island conditions at the hour of the day when the eclipse will occur have been fairly good. The American expedition is giving the New Zealanders liberal assistance which is much appreciated. Kind wishes are extended to the British Consul at Nukualofa. There are a total of 25 tents in the camp. The Ventura passed on Friday afternoon to Pago Pago. All members of the expedition are well.
