OVERSEAS TRADE

DOMINION RETURNS FOR AUGUST. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, September 25. The figures for the overseas trade of New Zealand for the month of August, 1930, show exports valued at £1,891,632 and imports valued at £4,054,074. _ The figures for rhe corresponding period in 1929 were £2,580,860 and £4,275,000 respectively. For the period of . eight months ended August, 1930, exports totalled £35,057,065 and imports £29,637,230. For the corresponding period of last year the figures were £43,072,236 and £36,272,095 respectively.
