(Rec. 8.15 p.m.) Pekin, September 25. •All North China may be endangered by a serious outbreak of bubonic also penumonic plague now spreading throughout the famine-stricken province- of Shensi. Missionary investigators report that the epidemic, which started two months ago, spread rapidly, wiping out whole villiages. Panic-stricken people are fleeing from the areas near the scenes of a heavy death roll, leaving piles of corpses unburied.
