WESTERN MAORI SEAT. THREE CANDIDATES NOMINATED. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, September 25. The nominations of candidates for the Western Maori by-election, which will take place on October B,"'closed at noon yesterday. The names are as follows: Pei te Huranui Jones (Young Maori Party), Auckland. z Haami Tokowere Ratana (Ratana Party), Ratana, Wanganui. Paite te Torno (Reform Party.) Holcombe. It is understood that two other aspirants for election telegraphed to the Returning Officer announcing their intention of going to the poll, but as their nominations did not come to hand at the prescribed time they were excluded.
