THREE NEW PLANES
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN SERVICE. (United Tress Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, September 23. The Vickers Company is shortly shipping to Western Australia three all-metal monoplanes adaptable for passenger and freight carriage over land or sea. They are capable of being fitted with one, two or three engines and can develop the highest maximum speeds. They combine rapid climbing and comparatively low landing speeds, and constitute one of the finest and cheapest commercial machines. There is accommodation for 12 in the saloon. A new ventilating system allows fixed windows, practicallj- eliminating noise.
