AIR RACE ROUND ITALY
MISS SPOONER FOURTH. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 1. Miss Winifred Spooner, the only British competitor in the air race round Italy, was placed fourth in the final award of places. Her flight over a strange course in competition with the best Italian airmen and those of many other countries is the subject of favourable Italian comment. The winner was the veteran Italian ace, Sacci.
