CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE RESULTS.

Masterton, May 22.

The Martinborough public library with attached dwelling occupied by Mr and Mrs Findlay was badly damaged by fire and water in the early hours of the morning. The brigade were promptly on the scene, but the fire was not extinguished before considerable damage had been done and the books had suffered from smoke and water.
