MAWSON EXPEDITION
A GENEROUS SUPPORTER. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) Canberra, May 2. Mr Macßobertson, who gave £lO,OOO for the Discovery's recent Antarctic voyage, has offered another £6OOO, which the Federal Government' accepted, and Sir Douglas Mawson will resume exploration in accordance with the plans tentatively prepared. No further Government grant is considered necessary.
