Among those who stood amid the throng in Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Anzac Day, to watch the parade of the garrison troops, was Lady Bledisloe (says the Dominion). Few noticed her Excellency, who drove to near the Government Printing Office in the vice-regal car, and, alighting, mingled with the crowd. She stood for some time and then wended her way back to the car. Practically all day she had accompanied the Governor-General at official functions, yet she found enough interest in the march past to make a special effort to see it from the viewpoint of those on the roadside.
