EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
EARLY CLOSING OF FUND.

The early closing of the earthquake relief fund was foreshadowed by the Hon. H. Atmore to-day. The credit was now very small, he said. A meeting of the committee will be held shortly for the purpose of disposing of further claints and winding up. Applications wer.e still being considered, though the money in hand would not go very’ far.
