BOARD’S TOUR OF INSPECTION. SOUTH ISLAND ITINERARY". (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, January 10. The Main Highways Board which has just completed a visit of inspection of works in the Auckland district will hold a meeting in Wellington to-morrow. Following their usual practice of visiting all centres of the Dominion getting in personal touch with local bodies and obtaining local knowledge, six members of the Board, together with the engineer and secretary, will leave by the ferry steamer to-morrow night, to make a comprehensive visit of various centres in the South Island Boards. The South Island programme will be as follows: January 13, Akaroa to Timaru; January 14, Timaru to Dunedin; January 15, Dunedin to Roxburgh; January 16, Roxburgh to Queenstown; January 17, Queenstown to Te Anau; January 18, Te Anau to Invercargill; January 20, Invercargill to Dunedin; January 21, Dunedin to Oamaru; January 22, Oamaru to Fairlie; January 23, Fairlie to Christchurch, January 24 at Christchurch.
