AGAIN POSTPONED

FLIGHT OF RIOL (Rec. 11 p.m.) London, November 24. Members of Parliament were again disappointed in the trip of RlOl. Heavy rain and a gale deterred many from going to Cardington, others taking the chance. The first hitch was when the weight connected with the lift became detached, and the lift was put out of action. The last 25 guests climbed 314 steps in order to board the airship where everybody lunched satisfactorily. It was then announced that the trip had been abandoned, firstly owing to the fact that the rain had so weighted the envelope, that with such a large party, the ship might be over-burdened. Secondly, if the gale persisted, it might be difficult to moor her again. The final decision was left with Lord Thompson who wired apologies, but said in the circumstances the flight must be postponed.
