CRACK GOLFER

WALTER HAGEN’S TOUR

VISIT TO AUSTRALIA DEFINITE KIRKWOOD AS PARTNER (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright,) (Rec. 11 p.m.) New York, September 21. Walter Hagen has often arrived late at a tee for a match, but when he appears on Australian links it will be just a year later than he originally intended. Hagen let it be known in 1928 that he was going to the Antipodes, but the venture was abandoned. He, in fact, had intended to make the trip three years ago, but now the champion, who is touring the country, announces that he will without fail display his golfing wares in Australia after he has participated in the professional championship in California. J. Kirkwood will be playing as his partner.— Australian Press Association.
