MARCH ON STATE CAPITAL. PREPARATIONS IN NEWCASTLE. Newcastle, July 22. Preparations arc being made for a march of 20,000 unemployed miners from Newcastle to Sydney in a solid body, in order to demonstrate to the citizens of the State capital the effects of the dispute on the northern coalfields, and bring pressure on the Government for the reopening of the closed collieries. The march will be timed so that the men will arrive in Sydney to meet the Premier, Mr T. R. Bavin, on his return from -abroad. —Australian Press Association.
