DEAF CHILDREN

A SPECIAL SCHOOL. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, July 21. Replying to a deputation which sought a larger school in Auckland for deaf children and those suffering from defective speech, the Minister of Education (the Hon. 11. Atmore) promised additional assistance for the present school which is attached to Newton East School. -He said he w-ould discuss with Cabinet the possibility of the establishment of a special school.
