THE GORE CLUB. MEDAL MATCH. The following is the draw for the Medal match to be played on June 5 and 8: — Kirkpatrick v. Flerping; Perry v. Richards; Fisher v. Royds; W. Young v. J. Ritchie; Kerse v. J. Aitken; R. Ritchie v. G. Young; Reid v. Clapp; Chapman v. Crosbie; MacMillan v. Mayhew; Tait v. Piller; F. Young v. Hawke; Mac Gibbon a bye. Sadd v. Sinclair; Houston v. Hawk; Scott v. Boyne; McQuillan v. Campbell; Finlayson v. R. Aitken; Martin v. D. Piper; Gresham v. F. Piper; McGregor v. McLeod. Gore v. Balclutha. A team consisting of 10 players from the Gore Club motored to Balclutha on Monday and had a most enjoyable day. On arrival the players were hospitably entertained at. morning tea by Mr and Mrs MacDonald (National Bank), and then proceeded to the links and played a four-ball match, which was won by Balclutha. After lunch the real contest of the day was commenced and play was continued under beautiful -weather conditions. Balclutha again won, the matches being six to four in their favour, as follows:—Scott lost to Thomson, Houston beat Clark, Poppelwell lost to Poynter, Ritchie beat Grigor, Boyne lost to Brewer, Finlayson lost to Barr, Aitken beat MacDonald, Kerse beat Barnet-t, Dolamore beat Stewart, Fleming lost to Randle.
