INCIDENT OF MAORI WAR. Out of a British force of 200 men which attempted to storm Hone Heke’s pah at Ohaewai in the ’forties over half of them were killed and wounded. Those were certinly stirring days in the history of New Zealand eighty years ago identical with the date when Dill’s Best was first announced as a new tobacco achievement. Dill’s best brought to smokers a new enjoyment; today it is bringing that enjoyment still; for, mild, cool and fragrant there is absolutely not the slightest sign of bite in it. Tobacconists everywhere sell it at 1/11 a 2oz. tin. Barlow Bros., Christchurch, are the New Zealand Distributors.—(Advt.)
