ARMISTICE DAY CELEBRATIONS,

To the Editor. Sir—On Sunday last the 10th anniversary of Armistice Day was held. Now don’t you think that it is rather hard on those who have had loved ones killed at the war to be reminded of the fact by this? We should honour the dead, but can we not do it in some other way? It is said that soon great War Memorials will be abolished. It would be better if they were left and this done away with. This is well worth consideration.—l am, etc., SON OF THE BACK-BLOCKS.
