FIRES

OUTBREAK IN CHEMIST’S SHOP. (Per United Pres* Association.) Dunedin, November 13. Fire, which broke out in J. Water's chemist shop in Princess street to-night, resulted in the whole of the stock being damaged by smoke though the outbreak was confined to the front portion of the basement. The flames did not reach the stock, part of which, however, was affected by water. The contents were covered by insurance and the building which is owned by the Daniel Haynes Trusts suffered no structural damage.
