MEMORIAL TO THE FALLEN. Rugby, November 12. A memorial to journalists who fell in the Great War was unveiled at tie Institute of Journalists during the week-end by Major-General Sir Fabian Ware, permanent vice-president of the Imperial War Graves Commission, who is an ex-journalist. Over 3500 journalists joined the forces and 500 were killed. The memorial bears an inscription chosen by Rudyard Kipling which reads: “We have served our day.”—British Official Wireless.
