GRAFT CHARGES
DISTRICT ATTORNEY INVOLVED. Vancouver, November 1. Following the conviction of the president, Mr Lewis, and other leading officials of the notorious Julian Petroleum Corporation the Grand Jury recommended that Mr A. S. A. Keyes, the famous District Attorney of the Los Angeles County, be himself prosecuted for the acceptance of bribes totalling £28,000, in connection with the efforts made to secure charges against the corporation relative to the alleged watering of Julian oil stock to the tune of 20,000,000 dollars —United Service.
