NEW LANGUAGE LAW. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Constantinople, Nov. 1. Hustapha Kemal declared that the new language law was the only means of saving the Turkish nation from general illiteracy. During the session the Assembly will be asked to ratify the pacts of friendship with Afghanistan, Persia and Italy and the signature of the Kellogg Pact.—Australian Press Association.
