CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
ABOLITION FAVOURED IN GERMANY. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, November 1. A committee of the Reichstag, discussing the reform of the criminal code, provisionally passed a resolution in favour of the abolition of the death penalty which the present Reichstag is expected to carry. —Australian Press Association.
