DRIVER’S NEGLIGENCE
CHARFIELD TRAIN SMASH. London, October 31. At the inquest concerning the Charfield disaster, the verdict was that the accident was due to the negligence of the express driver, Aldington, in passing the danger signal. Aldington was committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter.—Australian Press Association.
