TIMBER INDUSTRY
THE AUSTRALIAN MARKET. BRITISH COLUMBIA INTERESTED. Ottawa, October 16. The desire by certain lumbering interests in British Columbia to get into the Australian market has prompted a delegation from the coast to interview the Finance Minister, Mr Robb, on Wednesday. The Minister of Trade and Commerce, Mr Malcolm, will also be present. It Is not known what the request will be, but it is expected that the Australian treaty will be discussed.—Australian Press Association.
