COMMANDER BYRD’S EXPEDITION. RADIO BROADCAST RECEIVED. (Per United Press Association ) Giiborne, October 15. The Pittsburgh Radio Station KDKA yesterday conducted the second of its broadcasts to members of Commander Byrd's Antarctic expedition, all the megsages being received with exceptional clarify. Subsequently nt the request of the announcer, Mr. Robert Patty, the Gisborne amateur, communicated with the City of New York, the base ship of the expedition, and ascertained that the programme was successfully received. The vessel advised that her position then was 1420 miles south of the Marquesas.
